The rollout of Atlantis is on an indefinite hold at this point. Tropical Storm/Hurricane Hanna continues to threaten to bring high winds and rain to the KSC area on Friday and into Saturday. Since shuttle managers are unable to feel assured the wind and rain won't exceed the limits for rollout or for keeping a vehicle on the pad (< 40 mph), the decision was made this morning to wait out the storm and take it day by day until Hanna's path becomes more certain. They are also watching Tropical Storm Ike which is currently chugging westward across the central Atlantic in the general direction of the Bahamas.

Currently, the earliest Atlantis will be moved to its launch pad is Thursday at 12:01 a.m. If Hanna continues to threaten, Atlantis will wait until after the storm has passed and will be rolled out possibly on Saturday.
