5:30 a.m. EDT - The P6 truss segment and solary array have been positioned near the P5 truss on the port side of the station in readiness for its attachment to P5. It will be slowly maneuvered to the pre-install position with the aid of the eyes of Parazynski and Wheelock.

6:10 a.m. EDT - P6 is being moved closer to P5 very slowly to avoid any inadvertent contact between the two components. With just inches remaining, P6 will be berthed to P5 in just a few minutes.

6:16 a.m. EDT - P6 and P5 are together now and Wheelock is closing a capture device to firmly mate the two truss segments. The mechanism must be manually driven by a spacewalker.

6:40 a.m. EDT - Physical mating of P6 has been completed, with the truss segment firmly captured by P5. The remainder of today's spacewalk will consist of driving closed four bolts to make the P6 attachment permanent. Then Wheelock and Parazynski will connect various power and data cables and remove shrouds that were placed around P6 to protect the sensitive harware during its relocation.
