T-20 minutes and counting. The Spaceflight Meteorology group has removed the chance of showers from the RTLS forecast. Obviously the weather continues to look outstanding for launch today.

About halfway through the hold at T-9 minutes. The closeout crew is finishing buttoning up the white room and will be leaving the launch pad area in a few minutes, leaving the seven astronauts alone in Endeavour. The nearest people are those in launch control, the press site and VIP viewing sites over 3 miles away.

24 minutes left in the hold. The final target launch time is 6:36:42 p.m. EDT. There is a 4 minute, 36 second hold drainback time. The launch window has a 57-second COLA.

6:10 pm: The closeout crew has left the launch area. Also, the Spaceflight Meteorology Group reports there are no weather constraints to launch that are being violated.

Ten minutes from picking up the count at T-9 minutes. The ice team reported some frost buildup on the external tank, but no ice.
