The upper stage and GeoEye-1 will coast until T+53 minutes when the Aeroject AJ-10 engine will fire for the second burn of the mission. So far, everything has been nominal with today's launch.

The upcoming burn of the seocnd stage will be very short, only about 15 seconds and designed primarily to position the spacecraft for separation.

The clamps will release on the second stage and then the spacecraft will separate about 30 seconds later.

Spacecraft Separation confirmed! GeoEye-1 is on its own now following today's successful flight of a Delta 2 rocket, Delta 335. This is the 83rd successful Delta 2 in a row.
